Finding magic

And the adventures begin! We all need a little magic in our lives, and mine, frankly, had been made sparkly by Harry Potter as a child. So you can imagine how utterly excited I was to be making a pit-stop in Orlando, with a few golden hours to spend in the Universal theme parks!

I met up with a fellow Potterhead, and dove into the magical realm of Diagon Alley... went on an exhilarating ride in Gringotts... ducked when the dragon breathed fire and finally, contemplated Hogwarts as the sun started to set.

The world, I found out in the past few months, can be a challenging place; but all we need to do is remember to turn on the light, as Dumbledore says. I'm eager for the next months to be different; to move out of mourning and depression and grab at life with sparkles in my eyes. I think the magical world of Harry Potter is a good start.
